do you see her? not just look at her but really see her? or do your eyes slide over the silly little chit before you, stupidly childishly enamoured by the wonder that is you? do you see her gazing at you, confusion warring with interest as she wonders why time and time again, she keeps finding her eyes drawn back to you, like magnets to a lodestone? do you see her deep in thought as she tries to understand the pull of her soul to your own, at the connection she felt from the moment she saw you, before she even knew who you were? do you see the shadows darkening her eyes, every expression written painfully clearly across her face as she keeps telling herself that there is no hope for her, that she is not good enough, that she's just being silly?do you see her jerk her head away when you look in her direction, embarrassed you caught her staring, or that you would think she was staring, when she had only been lost in thought, eyes drawn to the movement of your own towards her? do you see her marvel at your character, the strength she sees hidden in your mortal frame, even as she finds herself impressed with your talents as they are slowly revealed to her? do you see her dream of a love that could be hers, suppressing any thought of you for fear that if she should allow herself to hope, she would be harshly disappointed, crushed by rejection? do you see her fight cold complacency and nameless shadows that threaten to drag her so far down that she would never be worthy of even looking at you? do you see her cry, bitter tears late at night when no one will see, when no one will guess that she wants more then she has, when no one will realise how the face behind the mask so easily crumbles....so weak...do you see her struggle as she tries to get over you, because she doesn't even know you, only to find her heart beating faster when you say hello? do you see her despair as she tries to be what you need, knowing that it is in vain, because you never see her? do you even know her name?
